Jordan, you’ve been seeing a micronutritionist for four years now. How has it affected your routine as an athlete?
After following a micronutrition plan for four years, I’ve noticed that I recover better after intense training sessions and I have better digestion. Micronutrition has also helped me to improve my performance and given me the edge in competitions.
What are your goals for 2018? Which races are you training for this year?
This year’s goals are the national and international championships. After a great year in 2017, I’m going to continue progressing and would like to rank among the top 3 in the world. I’d also love to win the French championships.
What essential qualities would you say you need to perform well as an elite cyclist?
To be an elite cyclist, you need a lot of willpower, to be able to adapt and recover well, and have a strong mindset. Your entourage (coach, team, mechanic) also plays a major role.
